This Mars Hill is amazing. Just by looking at the first picture on their website you can tell they are outward focused. They love to serve and do an amazing job at it. The church will be nine years old in February and run about 14,000. Mars Hill and Lifechurch.tv are different in many regards. Rob believes in the local church and the beauty in it. You won't see Mars Hill launching any campuses anytime soon. I have never been to visit, but it is one place I really want to visit. Check out their website and let me know what you think. Having attended Mars Hill for over 7 of those 9 years, I can tell you that it has been/is amazing in some regards, but all that glitters is not gold. The attendance number you mention was what we had bumped up against 2-3 years ago. Since then, it has diminished to less than half of that, mainly because many have become frustrated or disillusioned with the leadership or lack thereof--including, if not especially, Rob's.
